Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a field/service mechanic to replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components and perform inspections across diverse equipment.

You will troubleshoot with operator manuals and support tools, maintain a clean workspace, and uphold safety practices while communicating with supervisors and customers. The role requires physical stamina and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, state-approved High School Equivalency, or GED.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform stooping, bending, kneeling.
• Dexterity and ability to use basic tools as per policy.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles.
• Develop basic computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Advocate safety in all activities.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Use manuals and support resources to troubleshoot and identify parts.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Follow Altec Safety practices and procedures.
• Inform supervisors of issues affecting customer relations.
• Provide accurate information on required documents.
• Demonstrate Altec Company Values.
• All other duties as assigned.
