Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction in Twin Falls, a CRH Company, seeks a maintenance technician to repair and maintain cement mixer trucks and heavy equipment. You will troubleshoot, dismantle parts, replace defective components, weld, and ensure safe operations while keeping a clean, organized workspace.

Qualified candidates have a GED or high school diploma, 1–2 years related experience, and a valid driver’s license. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/instruction manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems, making economical repairs to cement mixers and heavy equipment.
• Dismantles devices to access defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment company-wide.
• Performs preventative maintenance: oil changes, greasing, fluid checks, and filter changes.
• Welds broken parts and structural members as needed.
