Job summary

H-E Parts International in Casper, WY seeks anassemble/teardown technician to rebuild major components for heavy equipment trucks. You will assist with large and small assemblies, prep parts for inspection, and move components using cranes, hoists, and forklifts.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and career growth within the shop. Responsibilities include maintaining shop cleanliness, learning operation of parts and pressure washers, and performing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • At least one-year mechanical work experience or equivalent education is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb is required.
  • Experience in heavy equipment repair and basic measurement tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely teardown and rebuild major components for heavy equipment trucks.
  • Work with teams to disassemble and reassemble rear wheel groups and other assemblies.
  • Prepare parts for inspection and transport within the shop.
  • Operate cranes, hoists, forklifts and related equipment safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and ensure good housekeeping in the shop.
  • Learn part operation and shop processes, with opportunities to grow.
