BoMac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, maintain, repair and overhaul heavy machinery used on marine and civil construction projects. The role supports crews on land and water-based worksites to ensure equipment is safe and compliant with manufacturer specifications.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of hands-on experience, owns their tools, and is willing to travel. A TWIC card is required and ownership of prior work on heavy equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanic must own their own tools.
• Mechanic must be willing to travel.
• Position requires a TWIC Card.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Preference given to candidates with at least 5 years’ experience working on equipment at meets or exceeds performance expectations.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, repair and overhaul heavy machinery and construction equipment including excavators, dozers, cranes, loaders, piling rigs, barges and marine equipment.
• Work in shop and outdoor environments with exposure to all weather conditions.
• Maintain alertness, balance and physical strength for safe operation.
• Lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
