Qualifications

• One year of experience or training as a mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Overhauls, rebuilds and performs major repairs on heavy‑duty diesel equipment.
• Performs diagnostic tests on various systems to locate malfunctions in electrical systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs transmissions in heavy‑duty diesel equipment.
• Checks electrical systems to determine the nature and extent of repairs.
• Removes drive lines and rebuilds on heavy‑duty diesel, cars and light trucks.
