Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on maintenance experience with heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, or similar machinery.
• Experience in hydraulics, electronics, small engines, air conditioning, or related systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Trade school, dealership, or factory service training in diesel repair and maintenance equivalent to an associate degree.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Professional certifications in heavy equipment maintenance and repair are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues involving hydraulics, electronics, small engines, air-conditioning systems, and related components.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately, including equipment mileage and operating hours.
• Coordinate with the Shop Foreman to prioritize maintenance tasks and urgent repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized, clean work area.
• Help reduce downtime by completing repairs and maintenance efficiently.
• Travel as needed for work assignments, training, and meetings.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues involving hydraulic systems, electronics, small engines, air-conditioning systems, and related components.
• Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately, including equipment mileage, operating hours, and repair details.
• Coordinate with the Shop Foreman to prioritize maintenance tasks and urgent equipment repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized, clean work area.
• Help reduce equipment downtime by completing repairs and maintenance efficiently.
• Travel as needed for work assignments, training, and meetings.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on maintenance experience with heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, or similar machinery.
• Experience in at least two additional technical areas, such as hydraulics, electronics, small engines, air conditioning, or other related mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Trade school, dealership, or factory service training in diesel mechanical repair and maintenance equivalent to an associate degree.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Professional certifications in heavy equipment maintenance and repair are preferred.

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds; assistance is required for heavier loads when necessary.
• Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work extended hours when required.
