OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING! Position: 2nd Shift Heavy Duty Mechanic Location: Sumner, WA Pay: $34.40 – $44.00 per hour, depending on experience
We are a trusted leader in asphalt and concrete restoration services across the Pacific Northwest. Since our founding in 1978, we’ve grown from a small operation into a well-established company known for quality workmanship, reliability, and strong relationships with municipalities, utilities, and contractors. With multiple operating yards and more than two dozen experienced crews, we complete thousands of projects each year—from utility patching and road restoration to large-scale concrete work. As we continue to expand and partner with some of the largest cities and utility providers in the region, our mission remains the same: to deliver high-quality restoration services while supporting the people and places we serve.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and making necessary repairs on a variety of light- and medium-duty trucks, as well as heavy construction equipment. You'll work with a diverse fleet, including specialized machinery such as pavers and rollers. If you're not already familiar with a specific type of equipment, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed. This position offers a great opportunity to expand your skills while playing a vital role on a collaborative team made up of both seasoned and newer mechanics. Your work will directly contribute to the safety and reliability of our fleet, helping to keep field crews operating efficiently every day.
