Mechanics Hub in Summerville, SC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, repair and rebuild heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, wheel loaders and haul trucks in a modern, shop-based facility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of heavy equipment mechanical experience.
• Read schematics and blueprints.
• Electrical and hydraulic diagnostics knowledge.
• Engine systems and after-treatment expertise.
• Proficient with OEM diagnostic software.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own hand tools (up to 3/4 inch drive).
• Willingness to pass background, criminal record and drug tests.
• Strong multitasking abilities and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a modern shop in Summerville SC location. This is a shop-based role focused on diagnosing repairing and rebuilding heavy equipment including excavators dozers wheel loaders and haul trucks from major manufacturers. Youll work in a clean well-equipped facility with overhead cranes and modern diagnostic software collaborating with a small experienced team in a low-stress family-oriented environment.

Requirements Must-haves

• 4+ years of heavy equipment mechanical experience
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Electrical and hydraulic diagnostics knowledge
• Engine systems and after-treatment systems expertise
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software
• Valid drivers license
• Own hand tools (up to 34 drive)
• Willingness to pass background check criminal record check and drug test
• Strong multitasking abilities and team-oriented mindset

Nice-to-haves

• Welding experience
• Ability to hang hydraulic hoses and perform custom fabrication
• Experience with component rebuild and R&R work
• Familiarity with Caterpillar Volvo Komatsu or John Deere equipment

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage $35$44hour (based on experience and skill set)
• Overtime Paid after 40 hoursweek
