Overview

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Work will take place both in the shop and occasionally in the field. This position also includes routine inspections to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for operation.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and services
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards
  • Maintain organized and safe shop and work areas
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable mechanic experience
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read schematics and technical data
  • Must provide a basic set of hand tools (specialized tools provided)
