Technician II (Shop)

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM or 8AM - 5PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range: $26 to 30+ per hour Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus

Location: This position will be in the shop located in Bryan, TX.

Position Requirements

Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

• You should have 2-3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment background preferred.
• Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment.
• Must have the necessary tools you need to perform mechanical repairs.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
• Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.
