Job summary

Austin Industries, Inc. is seeking a Service & Lube Technician for a large commercial project in Phoenix, AZ. This role fuels, lubricates, and performs light repair on construction equipment at jobsites and yards, while ensuring safety, environmental, and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, documenting services, and coordinating with field personnel to minimize downtime. This position requires a Class B CDL with Hazmat/Tanker certifications and outdoor work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.
• Climb on and around equipment; perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work early mornings, extended hours, or weekends.
• Must possess a valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker certifications.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Fuel, lubricate, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy construction equipment and support vehicles.
• Safely operate fuel and lube service trucks on jobsites and yards per DOT regulations.
• Conduct daily inspections of fuel/lube equipment and components.
• Monitor fluid levels and identify maintenance or mechanical concerns.
• Document fueling activity, services performed, and equipment hours.
• Maintain organized, stocked service vehicles and supplies.
• Coordinate with crew to prioritize servicing and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols, Hazmat handling, and environmental regulations.
