Job Summary

This position involves operating a forklift and heavy equipment at our Mauldin, SC site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health & safety by following policies and acting responsibly.
• Monitor equipment and report issues.
• Unload and load waste streams according to regulations.
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Handle solid and liquid waste safely, complying with all regulations.
• Operate forklift with attachments.
• Verify manifest types and quantities.
• Assist with spill cleanup and housekeeping.
• Perform chemical compatibility checks.
• Use DOT knowledge for labeling, storage, and shipping.
• Collect samples for analysis.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Handle materials using PPE as required.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Pass pre-employment background, physical, and drug tests.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate forklift and heavy equipment.
• Ability to work well with others.
