Harnish Group Inc. in Fairbanks, Alaska is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician - Rotator to diagnose and repair CAT equipment in the field. You will troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems and support customers on-site with flexible travel as needed.

The role requires mining equipment experience, a high school diploma or technical training, and a valid driver's license. The position uses a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off schedule, 8 hours daily, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 2–4 year vocational/technical training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (removing, repairing, assembling and installing).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Work with CAT diagnostic equipment and CAT repair tooling.
• Plan and organize to control job costs.
• Investigate, analyze and identify problems to make recommendations.
