Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Field Technician to repair, maintain, and service a variety of rental and customer equipment. You will manage work orders, diagnose issues using data, and travel to customer sites as needed. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or trade certificate, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable with tools and physical tasks. OEM training is provided year-round.

Qualifications

• Owns tools applicable to position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an understanding of schematics.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals; order parts; diagnose issues using data from multiple makes/models.
• Practice safe repair practices and maintain equipment.
• Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain daily paperwork/electronic work orders and documentation.
• Assist with pick-up/delivery of equipment and parts.
• Travel to customer sites for field service when required; keep service vehicle clean.
• Year-round OEM training provided.
