EquipmentShare in Mobile, AL is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) to service rental and customer equipment. You’ll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and travel to job sites as needed to keep the fleet running smoothly.

This role features a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime after 40 hours, on-call rotations, and access to OEM training, paid time off, and benefits. You’ll work with modern diagnostic tools and contribute to a safety‑conscious team that values

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade certificate required.
• Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; 21+ to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage work orders; track service intervals.
• Diagnose issues using data from multiple models.
• Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Order parts and assist in parts delivery.
• Train lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork daily.
