Qualifications

• Technical school graduate or relevant experience with Volvo construction equipment preferred.
• General knowledge of complex hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical information from hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and pass DOT Medical Certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and perform standard repairs on heavy equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical deficiencies.
• Source and order parts as needed for repairs.
• Perform equipment repair in field environments without supervision.
• Welding and fabrication of parts may be required.
