• Degree in Diesel Mechanics, Diesel Technology, or related field and 1 year of experience or equivalent hands-on training.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and diagnostic experience.

• Own and maintain a personal toolbox; CDL may be required; ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair customer equipment on-site.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service, and repair customer equipment on-site, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Assemble, recondition, and inspect equipment to identify needed repairs and maintain reliable operation.Research and order replacement parts using electronic systems.Maintain accurate service records and keep the take-home service truck in excellent condition.Communicate directly with customers regarding repair findings, service progress, and completed work.Complete ongoing technical training and service-school courses while following DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
