Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, LLC., a Quanta Services company, seeks a mobile heavy equipment technician in the Central Southwest region. You will troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment, operate a mobile mechanic truck, and work outdoors in challenging conditions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of heavy mechanical/electrical experience with hydraulics, air brakes, and electrical components, plus a valid Class A CDL and DOT medical certificate. Occasional travel to support projects is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years heavy mechanical/electrical experience, preferably working on heavy equipment.
• Must be able to operate and work out of mobile mechanics truck.
• Must have a current D.O.T. medical certificate minimum and be able to obtain a class A C.D.L.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot and repair/maintain heavy equipment including bucket trucks, diggers, cranes, excavators, backhoes, trailers, pickups.
• Must have hydraulic, electrical, air brake knowledge.
• Will be called upon to travel occasionally to other parts of the region to support other projects.
