Job summary

Dearborn Construction is seeking a full-time, year-round Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to service a large fleet of trucks and equipment. The role is based in Maine with a family-owned company that has built quality projects since 1984.

Ideal candidates will have experience with diesel engines, powertrains, hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and possess tools for field and shop maintenance. CDL license is a plus. Strong work ethic and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel engines and powertrains.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
• Experience in hydraulics systems and ability to diagnose/repair hoses.
• Perform routine maintenance in the field and in the shop.
• Must own and maintain tools for routine maintenance.
• Maine CDL Inspection License a plus or ability to obtain.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a team.

Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician

Job Description: Dearborn Construction is seeking full-time year-round Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician. This individual would be servicing a large fleet of trucks and equipment. Join a well-established family-owned business that has been constructing quality projects since 1984.

Requirements:

• Experience in diesel engines and power trains.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems. Must be capable of diagnosing and solving problems.
• Experience in hydraulics systems, ability to make and repair hoses.
• Perform routine maintenance in the field and shop.
• Required to own and maintain tools capable of doing routine maintenance.
• State of Maine CDL Inspection License would be a plus or ability to obtain through the company.
• Must be self-motivated and organized with strong work ethics.
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. CDL preferred.
