PPS is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic for our Coburg, OR area. You will diagnose, inspect, and repair heavy machinery and components, mostly outdoors, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The role is full-time and permanent, offering benefits and growth potential. The position requires 3–5 years of diagnostic and repair experience and a valid CDL-B license. You will spend time traveling to job sites and working in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform service repairs on heavy machinery per direction.
• Ensure parts and supplies are ordered for repairs.
• Maintain proper records of time, parts, and work performed.
• Keep service manager informed of repairs and issues beyond scope.
• Maintain tools and equipment; keep vehicle clean and organized.
• Comply with safety/environmental regulations and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
