Job Posting: Field Mechanic – San Antonio

Join a top-tier heavy equipment dealership as a Field Mechanic and take your career to the next level! We’re looking for experienced, reliable, and skilled mechanics to service and repair a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment at customer sites across San Antonio.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment and industrial tools.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement practical, timely solutions.

• Work in the shop,on-site at job sites or customer locations to support operations and minimize downtime.

• Maintain detailed records of service and repairs performed.

• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with safety protocols.

Equipment Experience Required:

Must have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing:

• Excavators (including large and demolition types)

• Dozers

• Dump Trucks

• Wheel Loaders

• Motor Graders

• Trucks and other heavy machinery

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Field Mechanic or in a similar role.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with solid problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Certifications in relevant mechanical fields a plus.

• CDL may be required depending on equipment serviced.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a mix of indoor and outdoor environments.

• Exposure to a variety of weather conditions is expected.
