Job Summary

Torrent Resources, a CRH company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in a shop and field environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of heavy construction equipment, class 7 and 8 trucks, and specialty equipment. This is a union role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy equipment inspections and repairs
  • Diagnose and repair of any breakdowns
  • Complete preventive maintenance
  • Weld and fabricate on equipment and tooling
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • CDL A, preferred
  • Must have own tools
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
