Job summary

Harnish Group Inc. is the Caterpillar Dealer serving Washington, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and Alaska. We seek technicians to diagnose, repair, and install CAT equipment across customer sites.

You will troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems, and work with CAT tools. Must be able to travel, stand for long periods, and pass safety/drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or 2-4 year vocational/technical training.
• Experience with CAT diagnostic equipment and CAT repair tooling is essential.
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to operate equipment and drive to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CAT equipment, including removing, repairing, assembling and installing components.
• Troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Plan and organize to control job costs and meet customer needs.
• Investigate problems and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
