Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC seeks an experienced diesel and heavy equipment technician to service shop and field jobs in Austin, TX. You will diagnose, repair, and document using Equipment360, perform PM1–PM5, and coordinate with Dispatch and Foremen for field service visits.

Proficiency with Caterpillar ET, Snap-On tools, OEM software, and multimeters is required. A valid driver’s license and strong safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of heavy equipment repair experience or equivalent training.
• Proficient with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Hands-on with Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, OEM software, and multimeters.
• Able to read repair manuals and schematics; safety-focused.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fleet trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment components (brakes, hoses, AC, alternators).
• Perform PM1–PM5 inspections and document results in work orders.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues using the listed tools.
• Service loaders, skid steers, excavators, manlifts, and fleet trucks to stay field-ready.
• Identify faults in hydraulic pumps and flow components; perform repairs.
• Install GPS units and lighting to spec; coordinate with field team as needed.
• Operate safely; adhere to Lockout/Tagout and OSHA protocols.
