Job summary

Boggs Recruiting is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Service Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and equipment in the Austin area. The role requires attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work independently with strong support from the team.

You will run diagnostic tests, replace engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems, perform preventive maintenance, maintain parts inventory, and submit daily logs.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and communication skills are essential.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; 2–4 years of related experience preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Supporting Heavy Equipment customers in the Austin area, we are looking for Mobile Heavy Equipment Technicians who have good attention to details and strong communication skills. The primary duties of a Heavy Equipment Mechanic include performing diagnostic tests on various vehicles to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Running diagnostic tests on vehicles

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
