Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to operate, repair, maintain and test heavy equipment including 25K/60K loaders and related vehicles. You will perform diagnostics, repair major systems, and follow maintenance schedules in a demanding environment. Candidates should have high school or better, training in vehicle maintenance, and experience with diesel/heavy equipment.

Knowledge of MAXIMO/DPAS and ability to read schematics are valued. Ability to obtain U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed or trained to operate heavy equipment.
• Mentioned major systems repair experience.
• Prefer A/C certification and experience.
• Specialized diesel and heavy automotive repair knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Conducts Mobile Maintenance: replace/repair hydraulic lines, pneumatics, A/C, wheels/tires, wipers, and bulbs.
• Perform heavy equipment maintenance: installation, repair, troubleshooting, diagnostics, PM.
• Disassemble/reassemble engines and mechanical units using test equipment and gauges.
• Replace/rebuild hydraulic cylinders, valves, drive units, suspensions, bearings, kingpins, seals.
• Operator care: washing, vacuuming, cleaning.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines for vehicle services and maintenance.
• Ensure proper care of equipment and promote workplace safety and environmental practices.
