The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliability in keeping equipment on the road. You will inspect reports from drivers and owner-operators, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues with gauges and analyzers, and ensure timely repairs in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Knowledge of truck parts and equipment; ability to diagnose issues.
Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset.
Effective problem solver with the ability to understand issues and find solutions quickly.
High attention to detail in inspections, repairs, and documentation.
Excellent time management skills in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problem using test drives and tests instruments such as pressure gauges and motor analyzers.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on medium and heavy duty trucks, including air and hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics.
Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components.
Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
Perform all tasks according to Charger safety procedures.
