Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth in Ferndale, WA is seeking a Journeyman Truck Technician / Mechanic to work on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks. You will diagnose complex malfunctions, perform repairs, and help keep customers' fleets running smoothly.

Expect leadership opportunities, robust training, and a focus on safety and quality. The role requires 3+ years’ experience, Kenworth Essentials preferred, and ability to work with Cummins and MX software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins and MX software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex truck malfunctions and system failures.
• Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and air systems as needed.
• Maintain and service trucks to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Provide guidance and leadership to teammates in the shop.
