Job summary

Advantage Truck Group is seeking a Diesel Technician in Westminster, VT to inspect, repair, and overhaul buses, trucks and heavy equipment. The position emphasizes diagnostic work, customer communication, and safe operation in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Certificate from Technical or Trade School is required.
• 2+ Years Technician Experience.
• Current Valid Driver’s License is required.
• CDL and DOT health card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, or overhaul buses, trucks, and heavy equipment.
• Test drive and inspect vehicles.
• Diagnose malfunctions; consult with customers on diagnosis.
• Read and interpret diagnostic test results.
• Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, etc.
• Do routine maintenance, oil changes, battery checks, lubricating equipment and parts.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, mechanical or electrical equipment.
