Job summary

Premier Truck Group in Knoxville, Tennessee is seeking a Vehicle Delivery Specialist to deliver vehicles and ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities include maintaining paperwork, test driving trucks, and assisting other departments as necessary.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and preferably at least one year in a delivery environment. A CDL A and DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a delivery environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL A and DOT medical card mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vehicles to customers and pick up vehicles when necessary. Process and maintain appropriate paperwork coinciding with delivery transaction.
• Maintain excellent customer service.
• Test drive trucks for quality control.
• Exercise responsibility for the maintenance of delivery vehicle and maintain insurable driving record.
• Assist in the Service Department and other departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education: A high school diploma and/or GED is required. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.

Experience: A minimum of one year to six months in a delivery environment preferred.

Licenses or Certificates: A valid driver’s license is required. CDL A and DOT medical card is mandatory.
