Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Taylor, MO is seeking a full-time Installer to assemble, install, and customize heavy-duty work truck bodies. This role runs Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime possible.

You will read installation directions, gather materials, assemble equipment such as service bodies, platforms, hoists, and racks, and test performance before final audit. Candidate should have a HS diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Basic mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install equipment such as: service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items
• Read work instructions and installation directions
• Gather materials and properly assemble equipment
• Test performance before delivering units to a final audit
