Job summary

Housby Mack Inc. is seeking an experienced Body Technician to repair commercial trucks and heavy-duty equipment to established quality, safety, and time standards.

You will drive damage discovery, repair planning, parts readiness, and a smooth handoff to paint, taking ownership from teardown through body-to-paint release. The role emphasizes thorough damage assessment, clear documentation, and strict adherence to repair plans, procedures, and safety rules while maintaining 95% efficiency after

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of body-shop or collision-repair experience.
• Welding, fabrication, structural-measurement, or OEM certifications are preferred where applicable.
• Read and interpret repair plans, estimates, and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle damage assessments (VDA), teardowns, and inspections per Housby procedures.
• Identify damage and document findings with notes and photos.
• Communicate supplements, labor, parts, and tools required to estimator and foreman.
• Follow repair plans and manufacturer procedures; perform metal repair, panel alignment, welding, and fabrication.
