Job summary

Tom Nehl Truck Co. is seeking an experienced Body Shop Painter to join our service team in Jacksonville, FL. The position is based at 417 Edgewood Ave.

South and involves painting trucks to high standards with attention to quality and safety. The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of experience with heavy-duty truck parts, and a valid driver license. Tools must be provided by the candidate.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience with heavy duty truck parts.
• Valid driver license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as assigned with efficiency, accuracy, and high quality following TNTC, insurance company, and enterprise standards.
• Mask or tape off details and components to avoid contamination and select proper colors and substances for the project.
• Ability to use paint sprayers and brushes to apply paint to the truck. Inspects painted area for quality, noting any issues and resolving them.
• Ensures work area is clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are correctly stored.
