Job summary

French Ellison Truck Center in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an experienced Painter for our Body Shop. Prepare and apply paint to vehicles and perform cosmetic repairs, with a focus on large diesel trucks.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong teamwork, and familiarity with industrial painting equipment. This full-time role involves 8-12 hour shifts in a dealership environment and requires good communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; Technical degree in Auto Body/Collision Repair is preferred.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Previous experience in the heavy duty truck collision industry is desirable.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Mix paint and match paint to color specification.
• Mask or tape off details and components to avoid contamination.
• Use of painting equipment such as sprayers.
• Perform check of paint jobs to check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product.
