Snider Fleet Solutions seeks skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics in Pooler, GA to perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role focuses on PM tasks, inspections, and proper documentation; no heavy engine or transmission repair is required.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of diesel experience, a valid Class C license, and Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certifications within six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• PM inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustment.
• Inspect for damage, wear, leaks, and safety defects on trailers.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and work orders.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team (MULTIPLE locations hiring). In this role, you will perform essential maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, focusing on tasks such as preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and completing all associated paperwork. Please note: this role does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair.

Qualifications:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers
• PM Inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustment
• Examines all system parts looking for damage, excessive wear, loose bolts, broken welds, structural deficiencies, air leaks, oils leaks, stuck, frozen, or rusted parts, as well as safety devices on all types of trailers
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashionli>
• Accurately fills out work order forms, ensuring all parts are included
• Follow safety protocols and company policies

• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
