Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team across multiple locations. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and completing all related paperwork; note that it does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience – required.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.
• Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and document work.
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• PM inspections, brake work, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement.
• Examine system parts for damage, wear, leaks and safety issues on trailers.
• Complete DOT forms and other paperwork accurately and timely.
• Fill out work orders and ensure parts are included.

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team (MULTIPLE locations hiring). In this role, you will perform essential maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks and trailers, focusing on tasks such as preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and completing all associated paperwork. Please note: this role does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers
• PM Inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustment
• Examines all system parts looking for damage, excessive wear, loose bolts, broken welds, structural deficiencies, air leaks, oils leaks, stuck, frozen, or rusted parts, as well as safety devices on all types of trailers
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashion
• Accurately fills out work order forms, ensuring all parts are included
• Follow safety protocols and company policies

• Ability to read technical manuals and instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer service-oriented
• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Pass background check and drug screen
