Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is hiring skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including PM tasks, DOT inspections, and required documentation. The role does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience required.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Federal Annual inspection and Brake Inspector certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers; complete all paperwork.
• Perform brake work including brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement.
• Inspect trailers for damage, wear, leaks and safety components.
• Accurately fill out DOT forms and work orders; follow safety protocols.

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team (MULTIPLE locations hiring). In this role, you will perform essential maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, focusing on tasks such as preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and completing all associated paperwork. Please note: this role does not involve heavy engine or transmission repair.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience – required

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation
• Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers
• PM Inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement and wheel end adjustment
• Examines all system parts looking for damage, excessive wear, loose bolts, broken welds, structural deficiencies, air leaks, oils leaks, stuck, frozen, or rusted parts, as well as safety devices on all types of trailers
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in timely fashionAccurately fills out work order forms, ensuring all parts are included
• Follow safety protocols and company policies

• Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
