Job summary

Great Dane LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trailers and equipment, including dry vans, flatbeds, and reefer units. The role requires using hand tools and power tools, lifting up to 50 lbs, and reading job orders to ensure accurate, traceable repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, carpentry, or technician roles.
• Must furnish own hand tools.
• Background screening and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, trouble‑shoot, diagnose and perform maintenance and repair of trailers.
• Build, rebuild, and repair all parts of trailer equipment to specifications.
• Read and understand job orders and document repair processes to company standards.
• Assist other technicians on work orders and communicate with customers and vendors to resolve issues.
