Persona AI, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Structural Robotics Assembler to build torsos, limbs, and joints for rugged humanoid robots.

You will weld, grind, inspect, and assemble large components in shipyard and heavy fabrication environments, handling tight tolerances and heavy parts by hand. You will work with torque wrenches, presses, and precision tools, following engineering drawings and process steps; overtime is paid at 1.5x when production pushes require it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Hands-on mechanical experience in assembly, machine build, or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Comfort with precision measuring tools and training will be provided if needed.
• Pride in workmanship and strict adherence to documented processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble torso, chassis, and limb structures from drawings and work instructions.
• Build actuator and joint modules with precise serialization of matched sets.
• Install bearings, gears, seals, and parts with proper alignment and preload.
• Torque fasteners to spec using calibrated tools and apply locktite as required.
• Verify joints against criteria using micrometers and dial indicators.
• Rig and position major assemblies safely with cranes and hoists.
• Record build data accurately in shop floor systems.
• Flag issues and stop the line if specs are not met.
