Job summary

Scrap Management of Oklahoma is seeking full-time, dependable MIG and arc welders to join our Oklahoma City team. Pay is based on experience.

You will perform welding, fabrication, and repair on equipment, trailers, and containers in a fast-paced scrapyard setting. Responsibilities include using welding and cutting tools safely, maintaining a clean and safe area, and assisting with maintenance and repairs as directed.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and arc welding in a fast-paced shop or yard setting.
• Ability to fabricate and repair metal parts for scrapyard operations.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding, arc welding, fabrication and repair on equipment, trailers, containers and metal assemblies.
• Repair and fabricate parts used in scrapyard operations and replace worn components.
• Operate welding, cutting, torching and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, shredder and repairs as directed.
• Inspect tools and welding equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Work independently or in a team to complete projects efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
