Job summary

Ledcor is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to support our mining operations in Nevada and Idaho. You will work on a fleet of haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators, helping keep critical equipment safe, reliable, and ready for the job.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to OEM standards, with a focus on Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu. Perform maintenance, complete service records, and communicate status to operations while adhering to site safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair (mining or heavy civil preferred).
• Trade certification, technical training, or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience reading schematics and using diagnostic tools.
• Experience with Cat, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment strongly preferred.
• MSHA Part 48 (metal/non-metal) required (support provided if needed).
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
