Job summary

MasterTech is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics in Greensboro, NC to join a large service, rental and parts distributor serving Construction, Mining and Recycling industries. Work with a team of seasoned technicians locally and on client sites.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of heavy mobile and stationary equipment; candidates should have hydraulics, welding, electrical skills, and be comfortable working independently with valid driver's license

Qualifications

• 3+ years heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Experience with screening, crushing, conveyors, trommels and shredders is a strong asset.
• Proficient with hydraulics, welding, electrical systems, preventive maintenance and diesel engines.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools (specialty provided).
• Background checks and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and mobile/stationary machinery.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical and diesel engine systems.
• Work locally with the service team and on client sites as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and quality controls.

Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics are needed in the Greensboro, NC region. Working with a large service, rental and parts distributor supporting the Construction, Mining and Recycling industries. An opportunity to work with a team of experienced technicians locally, and on client sites.

Compensation:

• $28.00 - $32.00/hour
• Full Benefits Post 30-Days
• Health, Dental, Vision, Disability (Employer Paid + Dependents)
• 15 Days PTO Year One, IRA Plan

Shift/Schedule:

• Monday to Friday + OT
• 7:00am Start Times

Requirements:

• 3+ Years Heavy Equipment Maintenance, large machinery (stationary or mobile)
• Background with Screening, Crushing, Conveyors, Trommels, Shredders a strong asset
• Comfortable with Hydraulics, Welding, Electrical, Preventative Maintenance, Diesel Engines
• Valid Drivers License, Own Tools (Specialty Provided), ability to work independently
• Successful candidates will be subject to background checks, drug screening
