Point Spring & Driveshaft Co. is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Fairmont, PA to diagnose and repair heavy-duty truck components. You will use diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals to identify issues, document repairs, and ensure safety compliance in a busy shop environment.

The role requires 2+ years of heavy-duty experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and knowledge of hydraulics, suspension, drivetrains, brakes, and electrical systems. CDL or state certs are a plus.

We're currently looking for a Heavy Duty Mechanic who takes pride in precision repairs, cares about safety, and loves getting trucks back on the road.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring (Requirements)

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or lie down.
• Regular use of hand and shop tools.
• Must lift and carry objects up to 75 lbs.
• Exposure to loud noise, grease, fumes, and temperature fluctuations.
• Work may take place indoors or occasionally outdoors.
• Company-provided PPE (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots) required.
• Must provide personal tools sufficient for heavy duty truck maintenance.
