Job summary

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on, is seeking a candidate to assemble automotive lifts and lift components under the Production Supervisor. The position starts at $17.86 per hour with an attendance incentive, schedule 5:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday and every other Friday.

Responsibilities include assembling lifts and components, supporting 6S safety initiatives, seeking process improvements for quality and efficiency, assisting in fabrication as needed, and performing other

Qualifications

• Ability to use assembly tools.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Understanding of blueprint reading.
• Strong communication skills across the organization.
• Understanding of general manufacturing processes.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must wear PPE (Hi-Vis vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses, Gloves, Ear Plugs).

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive lifts and components/accessories.
• Assist in implementation of 6S initiatives with emphasis on safety.
• Suggest and assist in process improvements to ensure quality, efficiency and safety.
• Assist in fabrication processes as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
