Job summary

Groendyke Transport is seeking Fleet Technicians to maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks and tank trailers in a professional shop environment in Missouri. The role covers preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience in diesel, heavy truck, trailer, automotive, or fleet maintenance preferred for advanced technician roles
• Entry-level technicians are encouraged to apply
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking
• Experienced technicians must provide their own hand tools

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trucks and trailers
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on heavy-duty trucks and tank trailers
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and ABS systems based on experience level
• Complete brake, tire, suspension, and trailer repairs
• Perform inspections and maintenance documentation
• Complete welding repairs as needed
• Follow all shop safety procedures and company standards
