Swenson Spreader, LLC, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Lindenwood, IL, just 15 minutes south of Rockford, IL, is seeking an experienced Assembler. You will assemble engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics on salt spreaders according to specifications and blueprints.

You will read instructions, gather parts, and use hand and power tools to ensure proper fit. You’ll inspect assemblies and lift up to 50 pounds as needed while contributing to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• At least one year of assembly experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in varied positions.

Responsibilities

• Read assembly instructions and gather necessary parts, tools, and materials.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble parts, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure functionality and compliance with standards.
• Lift and move parts up to 50 pounds as needed.
