Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Facilities/EVS team member for the Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast environment. You will perform daily cleaning, operation of shampooing equipment, and basic maintenance tasks to keep the casino spaces clean and safe.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, physical stamina, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Training provided; growth opportunities within a fast-paced entertainment setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or up to one month related training/experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple notes.
• Ability to perform basic math operations including weight/volume.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Mixes chemicals and operates carpet shampooer and buffer.
• Moves furniture and cleans assigned area.
• Maintains and cleans machines after use.
• Cleans the casino; transports trash; reports problems to EVS Supervisor.
• Adheres to company policies and safety standards.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful attitude with customers and team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units weight measurement, volume, and distance.

• The ability to operate sweeping and shampooing equipment.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The team member is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
