Job summary

Good Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician in Pennsylvania. The role involves repairing and maintaining both our fleet and external customer vehicles, covering diesel and non-diesel trucks. You will diagnose, rebuild, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventative maintenance, and safe operation of shop equipment. A 50-hour work week with overtime pay after 40 hours applies, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years diesel technician experience.
• Willingness to obtain Class A CDL and DOT PA Class 7 Inspection License during employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild, and repair trucks and trailers (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical).
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Operate equipment: forklift, tire changer, overhead crane, pneumatic tools, alignment machine, welders, plasma cutter.
• Maintain a safe environment for self and team members.
• Rotating on-call schedule with all technicians.
