Position: Diesel Technician in Nashville, TN

Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

As a Diesel Technician, you will deliver top-notch service to our customers by performing repairs, both major and minor, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your mechanical and electrical expertise will be vital to our team's success.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as a key contact for customers, supporting and guiding them through the repair process.
  • Perform repairs under supervision, demonstrating proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Follow written and oral instructions accurately, maintaining documentation and inventory control.
  • Prioritize safety at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Work independently when required, demonstrating autonomy and initiative.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferably post-secondary vocational education.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical inspections and repairs.
  • Must obtain a valid Class B Driver’s License within a specified timeframe.
  • Ability to understand and comply with company policies.

Required Training:

  • 2+ years of heavy truck repairs or related field experience.
  • Ability to pursue a Class B Commercial Driver’s License.
  • Basic training provided by third parties or the company.
  • Fundamental knowledge of heavy-duty electrical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose failures and execute repairs effectively.
  • Familiarity with component rebuilds and replacements, such as engines and transmissions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and physical exam.

Compensation:

  • $28-$35/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Full-time position.
