Qualifications

  • 2-year Diesel Technician/Mechanic degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years working in a full-time technician/mechanic role on heavy duty chassis.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical experience.
  • Welding/cutting torch experience.
  • Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal, organizational and attention to detail.
  • Working usage of MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections including factory warranty repairs.
  • Attend local, regional, and national service schools and training sessions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Foster positive working relationships with service and parts personnel.
